seconds and then give it a 5 second breaks. You will then

holding for 5 seconds has become easier, you will then want
to move up to 7 second reps. For these next few weeks
perform 5 sets of 5, 7-second long reps. Lastly, after
several weeks of beginning the Kegel exercise you should
work on moving up to 10 sets of 10, 10-second long reps.
When performing the Kegel exercises it would be a good idea
to change the intensity and speed in various sets. As you
become more comfortable and experienced with Kegels you can
perform them when you are having sex or even when
masturbating. Another good time to perform Kegels that will
be of benefit for you is during foreplay before sex, and
before and during an orgasm.
A Few Kegel Exercising Tips:
Before you begin the Kegel exercise routine you should spend
a few minutes becoming completely relaxed. Try to focus all
of your energy on the PC muscle. Do not flex any other
muscles during this exercises, this is important for the
maximum stimulation and effect. Be sure you are tightening
only the PC muscle. Do a search on the internet of a diagram
to show you exactly where it is, and feel it a couple of
times while you are doing the exercise to be sure it is
tightening. Become completely immersed in the exercise while

perform the exercises on a daily basis. Lastly, you need to
be sure to sit in a comfortable position allowing for full
flex of the PC muscle.
